UK Tour
Location: Scotland and England
Ralphead: Gwyneth
Note:
Flat Ralph and The Flat Band a wonderful week touring the UK and playing gigs in some very interesting places! Here they are at Eilean Donan Castle on the banks of Loch Duich.
Here they are performing by a very old classic rock (The Eagle Stone is a 4000 year old rock with Pictish writing on it). Unfortunately, no pre-historic people came out for the concert. Due to the difficulty in locating the venue, only a crowd of sheep were there to hear them play.
They visited Urquhart Castle on the banks of Loch Ness, then played to s sell-out crowd near the Loch Ness Centre. They managed to miss what would have been an amazing sight. Can you see who came out of hiding to hear the band play?
Pink Floyd? No, that Hadrian's Wall, another stop on the Flat Band's UK tour.
The Birthday Gig
Location: Blue Ridge, GA
Ralphead: Gwyneth
Note:
What a great evening for a birthday gig! The weather was great, the fans were in abundance and all had a great time at Chloe's fourth birthday party. They felt that the cake was just the right size for them, but managed to leave some for Chloe. They refused the ice cream chosen by Chloe, "Rocky Raod" as they didn't want to have bad luck on their next journey.
The Band managed to not blow out the candles nor catch on fire, thankfully.
The Flat Band
Location: Beaver Dam, WI
Ralphead: Suz
Note:
July 1st was a beautiful breezy Summer day in Wisconsin, where FR and his Flat Band jammed for a few minutes near Beaver Dam Lake.
Of course, they were due at The Big Gig that afternoon, so they only took a quick walk around the nominal dam, posing for a few pictures before Suzanne sent them on their way.
At the Cubby Bear
Location: Chicago
Ralphead: Suz, MB, Gwyneth
Note:
Later, at the Cubby Bear, they enjoyed Ralph Covert's adult music, where the band included Steve Wozny on keyboards, Terry Wathen on drums, Tom O'Brien on lead guitar and Brian Sheridan on bass.
Following the show, RC decided FR needed a face.
Introducing Flat Ralph
Location: Chicago
Ralphead: Suz, MB, Gwyneth
Note:
Flat Ralph's very first excursion was to meet up with three dedicated Ralpheads for some good times in Chicago. They were allowed to tour the fascinating Waterdog facilities, but not allowed to take pictures inside. Here is one from outside with a very interesting bridge.
